CHEO’s Department of Pediatrics is a dynamic department serving a large geographical area with a population base of 1.8 million. In addition, with the proximity to Quebec and the availability of bilingual services, children from Western Quebec are referred and treated at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Our pediatric Hematology/Oncology Division is designated as the tertiary referral centre for all children with cancer and blood disorders from Eastern Ontario.

 
The Hematology/Oncology Division is actively recruiting a well-trained individual, at the Associate or Full Professor academic rank, with significant expertise in thrombosis, to provide clinical care and teaching, and to lead research in this area. This faculty member will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, patients and families in our Division.
The candidate will be Royal College of Physician and Surgeons (Pediatrics) certified/eligible or equivalent and will have completed a recognized training program in pediatric hematology/oncology. Fluency in both English and French would be an advantage. In accordance with the Canadian immigration requirements, priority will be given to Canadian citizen and permanent residents of Canada.
